How far in advance should I book my event? Balloons & Moore recommends that customers book at least 30 days prior to their event. However, we have accepted reservations even at the last minute - the day before!  Just note that quantities and specific colors may not be available and substitutions may be made. 

 

How much is the deposit to book an event ?

An initial deposit of 50% is required to book your date. The remaining balance is due 5 business days prior to your event. No dates will be held until an initial deposit is received. If your event is booked less than 5 business of your event date, payment will be due immediately.

 

How much are your services?

The cost of our decorating services is dependent on your order.  We do give written estimates as well as a written service agreement after our initial consultation. 

 

Consultations: 

If your event requires extensive decorations and you need to hold your consultation at your actual venue and that venue is not in Tallahassee, a travel fee will apply.

 

Initial consultation is free.  If a second consultation is needed, a consultation fee will apply in the form of cash, cashier's check, or money order and will be due upon arrival. Customers are asked to bring swatches of their colors to their initial consultation. Every event is unique. An initial consultation will allow us the opportunity to gain an understanding of your needs so that we can properly price and service your event

 

Cancellations & Rescheduling:

Cancellation three months prior to event will result in return of retainer.  Cancellations received two months prior to event will result in refund of 40% of retainer.  Cancellations received less than one month prior will result in forfeit of retainer.  Client agrees to give decorator at least 72 hours notice of cancellation.  Cancellations received less than 72 hours will result in forfeiture of cost of job.
